3-day Quote Challenge! (2/3)

Hi everyone! Today i have the second entry for the 3-day Quote Challenge given by Rose Regine of Alice goes Yolo. Thanks again Rose! If you also want to see my first quote, click here. 🙂

  • Post one quotation a day for three days (they can be from other sources or one of your own).
  • Nominate 3 other bloggers to participate per post.
  • Thank the blogger who nominated you.

Even though i love reading, i am not one to remember particular sayings/quotes by a person/character in a book. I don’t know if it’s because i have poor memory or just because i don’t usually reread my books but i don’t really usually remember them unless i write them a lot of times somewhere or memorize them. So last year i started saving cute, inspiring or interesting quotes from some books i’ve read, just for future reference. And now, it looks like i’ve found the perfect time to use them.  XD

This is a quote by Michael Nolan (i don’t know who he is). It was also quoted in the novel entitled “Things we Know by Heart” by Jessi Kirby, which i’ve read a year ago. It’s about a girl who fell in love with the guy who received her deceased boyfriend’s heart.

The quote is self-explanatory. I just want to emphasize that this quote should really be remembered by us, especially the young people. Sometimes the young tend to be impulsive, not thinking thoroughly before doing something. They are easily influenced by people, culture and trends. I’m guilty of that and maybe some of you are too. But there will come a time when you will find something you really like—something you really like from the heart—and it’s not always something we can easily get/achieve. There might be someone or something in the way. It can be your parents, friends, even money or status. Even so, we can always find a way. It might take time, weeks, months or years, but don’t rush. Remember that we can only find true happiness in things we truly enjoy. 😉

Actually, i just remembered that i didn’t nominate anyone on my first post. I blame my forgetfulness for that. >.< Haha, anyway here are my nominees:

That’s it for the second quote. Hope you liked it! 🙂
